Sure, you can offer fair incentives to attract affiliates to partner with you, but how exactly do you get them to sign up in droves?

To earn a steady revenue stream, you need lots of affiliates who simultaneously sell your product. Here are simple and effective ways to attract more affiliates to join your affiliate marketing program:

1. Devise an affiliate-friendly marketing program

Make it easy for your affiliates to sign up. If you have complicated site requirements for approving new affiliates, then you turn away several webmasters and bloggers who have no patience for rigorous systems of application and screening. Remember, some sites, no matter how small, may have already established an unrivalled online reputation. Tapping into their dedicated following is like finding a gold mine. You might want “trusted” sites to sell your product because their devoted following are much more receptive to sales offers.

2. Make available a wide range of topnotch marketing tools.

To do that, have a dedicated webpage that hosts your free marketing tools. Your marketing tools must be of exceptionally high quality. The articles (which your affiliates can lightly rewrite to make them unique again) designed for mailing lists, blog posts, and article directories must all be well-written and informative. Your banners, sidebar graphic ads, and buttons must be available in different formats and sizes. Do not also forget to include relevant keywords for your affiliates to use for indexing and optimization purposes.

For convenience, consider outsourcing both the writing and graphic designing tasks. Outsourcing frees your time so that you can focus more on the important aspects of running your online business.

4. Pro-actively seek affiliates

Find potential affiliates instead of waiting for them to discover your affiliate program. Recruit via forums, social media, or any platform where you think site owners, webmasters, and bloggers visit. If you sell your product via a third-party vendor like ClickBank, for instance, then you are already making your product visible to many site owners who are willing to promote it in exchange for commission. If you want to shell out money to search for affiliates, then you can also post ads on forums and directories.
